Alright it’s time to wrap this book up. I’m about to DNF. They are talking too much. Like full monologues bakc and forth but then you have some moments where there is a page and half between the dialogue. I had to go back and see what was said smh.

I’m only 4% in but the writing so far is really good. I’m taking a break from urban romance so I have to remember I’m not in the hood anymore. It’s nicer over here.

I cannot believe I am rooting for this relationship! Lord please don’t bring this mess over my way but for entertainment purposes, I’m invested.

Really enjoying Tyme and Midnight’s back and forth banter!! So funny. Even their personal thoughts. This author is witty and I love it. I know im going to read more from her.

I’m enjoying this story in a way. There is just way too much extra writing. Page long paragraphs after paragraphs. Honestly, I’m skipping a lot of them. I appreciate the details but a page long paragraph on his decision to take a shower after getting off a plane because they are dirty?? SKIP!

This is a black stalker romance. I’ve reached this side. I’m too far gone to be saved.

Next time I find out a book is a slow burn, I’m skipping it. Devyn and Derrick are literally both pissing me off. Shon is pissing me off for writing this like this. Like this doesn’t need to be a slow burnnnn!! They already did it in the prologue! 🙄
