This book is three quarters boring victorian women's issues. I'm counting on Natasha Pulley's story to save the day.

I'm putting this on pause until a time when I have more patience for bullshit dilemmas and overblown non-issues.

I'm afraid this has lost me already. The characters' issues and traumatic backstories, their drug problem and their difficult family situation are so generic that these characters seem barely real to me and I suspect that they are going to be no more than bloodless vessels for the book's Very Important and Original Capital-M-Message, at which I am already rolling my eyes.

Somebody get this girl an editor, for heaven's sake!

I already love it! The first two crazy chapters alone deserve 10 stars. XD
