For some reason during this reread, ToG has had such a deeper emotional toll on me. Maybe it’s because I know what it’s all going to lead to at the end or how much Aelin grows.
I remember Heir of Fire being the book that I finally felt like YASSS SOMETHING BIG IS BUILDING UP but this time around I had sprinkles of tears throughout too.
ALSO…MANON ALWAYS 🖤 AND ABRAXOS 🖤

Well this has been an emotional journey all over again, tears and all on multiple occasions. I rest my case that Nesta’s character growth and arc is one of my favorites ever.

Ughhh how is it that this book still makes me cry not once….but multiple times 🥲

Thoughts during my reread:
1) I’m not sure how much I noticed Cass and Nesta’s protection over one another so subtly in ACOWAR…it makes me 🥺 every time
2) TO THIS DAY I still think there is so much more to Eris than we know. He continues to intrigue me.
3) Morrigan, there’s more to you yet as well. So much we still don’t know about you and your past.
Book 6 best give me more crumbs!

My third, maybe fourth reread of ACOTAR yet it’s getting me so pumped for 6 already. Now off to my fave - ACOMAF ✨
