I don't know if it's because of the narrator or because I am listening to it in English when I listened to the Kingsbridge series in German but somehow this doesn't feel like a Follett novel. Did he use a ghost writer or something? So weird because I enjoyed 'The Armour of Light' a lot which was his last book right before this one.

Ich komme deutlich besser rein als beim ersten Band, wahrscheinlich weil ich den Schreibstil nun schon kenne. Bisher ist es gut unterhaltsam. Keine langweilen Stellen aber auch nicht zu viel Handlung auf einmal!
