This is crazy. I’m annoyed I’ve never heard of this book before.

This is another great story. A little more creepy but the new characters balance this out. I like how this book expands on the world.

Do I like this? Yes, I do. I'm just confused by where we went. I do think this man is cursed. There can't be another explanation why so many horrific things are happening.

This is funny so far.

I haven’t documented reading Yesteryear but I’ve been listening to the audiobook these last few days. It started off great but it’s really boring & got a bit superficial. Not sure if I’ll DNF. If you’re truly interested in hearing former traditional wives stories, look into Cults to Consciousness or Mormon Stories on YouTube!

How come everyone is weird & clearly lying BUT Sen & Lee? They’ve killed people. Also, teeth hanging like wind chimes? Wow, Kylie. I can hear hear them 😳😂

Man, this book starts off very slow. Didn’t realize that on the first read. I am still so annoyed how everyone acted around Nesta.

I made it to part two & I just realized that Sens mother & father do not have a name. Everybody has names but her mother & father, which adds to all of the weird & mysterious things happening! I could’ve sworn her dad’s named slipped in somewhere but I can’t find it! I am loving the lyrical writing so much.

Oh man, I love this already. Kylie your writing is just delectable.

What a first chapter! I’ve been wanting to listen to this audiobook since it came out but never got to it. I saw Viola on the Good Hang podcast & that was it. I needed to listen!

Michelle‘s relationship with her father is also very interesting, especially with her mom being the center. I wish Michelle wrote about her mother‘s funeral.

I forgot so much that happens in this 😵‍💫 That save by T is still so crazy after everything he’s done.

I’m rolling my eyes much more with my second reread, but I did notice this on my first read…Rhys really lets other people do a lot of his work for him & it bothers me. I am catching onto a lot more hints & foreshadowing for the 5th book this time around.

I’m ready to read this insane ending again!

I like these reveals but there’s something that’s keeping me from fully connecting to the characters.

Another reread & Ian so excited. Will this remain a 5 star this time around? I forgot about Ianthe…I hated her so much.
