Such a fun sequel to Adventures with Waffles!

I’m almost certain this is my favorite book of the series so far. SO good. I’m struggling to find time to read right now, but am still somehow speeding through this book. Just what I needed!

Broke my heart in all the right ways, and I /may have/ stayed up late listening so I could finish it. 5⭐️

This book is such fun! I’m loving being back in Anne’s world, although I wish there were some return letters from Gilbert—I think that would have been fascinating!

So many good thoughts in here! I’m just reading through it for now, but hoping to put it into practice in the near future. (Also: Have you ever had a POD book that had the cover put on backward and upside down? This book was made that way, so I’m having to read right-left, like a manga comic!)

I may not enjoy everything Jackie French puts in her books, but wow…is she ever a good author! I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this series, and even though I’m feeling a bit burned out on WWII books, this book is definitely an exception. Plus, I don’t think I’ve ever read a book set in Australia during the war, so that’s unique. Can’t wait to see how it all pans out!

Inspiring stories. It’s making me want to keep a thankfulness journal!

No idea who this guy is or what he did, but Mom recommended it, and we decided to have this as our next family evening readaloud! (Also, I realized when I picked this up that I’ve /never/ physically read one of the Christian Heroes books before—even though I’ve listened to plenty! That was a weird realization.)

I’m behind on the Anne reading challenge, but who cares. Delighted to be back in this world again!

I did the calculations a day or two ago…in average modern formatting, this book would be around 1,400 pages long. No wonder it feels like it’s taking me ages to get through it! (I’m thoroughly enjoying it, though, so that’s a plus!)
