when i think of a religious psychosis-driven Eli i would not assume that after 10 years he’d still be in the same little town collecting EOs like pokémons while talking about god. i’d rather think he’d be on other side of the world, playing Buddha or Jesus and collecting a cult around him, enjoying attention, followers, power, and control. but who am i to analyze the characters.
