Victor, whose worst childhood trauma is just absent parents, is a psychopath capable of murder, stomach stabbing, looking at corpses without panic, shooting puppies. he also knows how to shoot a gun and to use a silencer despite being locked up in prison from 20 to 30 years old with no prior gun experience. he also takes in the girl AND the dog and the green mile

when i think of a religious psychosis-driven Eli i would not assume that after 10 years he’d still be in the same little town collecting EOs like pokémons while talking about god. i’d rather think he’d be on other side of the world, playing Buddha or Jesus and collecting a cult around him, enjoying attention, followers, power, and control. but who am i to analyze the characters.
