I liked this story a lot but I did the audiobook and the male voice was so not for me. Not his voice per se but more like the dramatics and exasperated sound to it or the exaggerated words. Took me out of the story from time to time.

First time throughout this book, chapter 22, made me a bit sick, but not too sick that I can’t keep going. Fuck.

Still the stupidest FMC I’ve read in a looooong time. They keep mentioning how she was so smart. An amazing cop top on their phase 1 with the fbi, for someone so smart she is annoyingly so dumb. She lacks common sense and purposefully puts herself in danger because she thinks she understands when in reality she knows nothing.

61% in and I just still don’t like this heroine. She is quite annoying. I’m sick of her running away every five minutes. Her constant wishy-washy thoughts are aggravating me. She’s just dumb. For being so far in. I thought something would have progressed by now.

Slow going. Still no secrets revealed and heroine is still running away every five seconds.

So I’m sensing a theme here. The H is always screwing someone else before and most likely even after the heroine appears on the scene and of course it’s described and even seen. Don’t care for that. But I push through anyway.

Seriously…. Amber… again. Yet nothing between them. Yeah. This isn’t going the way I want it to.

I’m kind of pissed off and sad that Amber made an appearance. I like my Hero’s to be all about the heroine reguardless of his brutality and seemingly uncaring facade. Hope that’s the last of it.

Chapter three went way better than that rough start. Hope I don’t lose interest midway.

I’ve tried to start flock by Kate Stewart many times now. Today is the furthest I’ve gotten in, and I think I’m only on chapter 2. For some reason I just cannot get into this. But I want to push through. What’s holding me back I think is that there are three books. A couple of trusted reviewers have rated book 1 3.5 & book 2 between 3.5/4. So I don’t know if this is worth it for me to continue.

Only in the damn prologue and I’m already hooked. I feel like this is going to be a tear jerker for some reason.

After finishing a book with a TSTL heroine, I need to fall into something familiar. Can’t wait to start this new series.

Yowza.

Half way through and I don’t want to finish. I’m really enjoying this. Wish it would’ve been longer. This is a story that could really be stretched without it being stale.

Feel like this may be a 4 star or higher. Fingers crossed.

Asha is whiny and Dax already let some girl blow him while he thought of Asha in order to get off. Dick move. Hate that.

Trying so hard to catch up on the books that have been on my TBR for forever. It's so hard. Too many new releases at once.

Finally.

I started this once already and only got past the prologue before I realized the main character is dying.. I hate death of main characters in books. So, I put this down in the do not read pile and moved on. However I came across it again and said to myself just read it. So, I'm once again going to start this. No doubt there will be tears.

When your Kindle/iPad dies in the middle of a full book review and you can't remember what you've already written. Yeah, that just happened. =\

Kind of nervous to start this one. I love Lani Lynn Vales Kilgore men. Don't know how I'm going to feel knowing Booth is married and she's with someone else. Typically avoid book where the main characters are with OM/OW so I guess we'll see.
