I don’t dislike this, but the start wasn’t what I expected. Heavy on debunking the mythology of the cartel as it’s seen in writing/film/etc. rather than nitty-gritty material and political analysis. However, it seems to be turning to that which I’m enjoying. I have a feeling Fort Bragg Cartel will be a great follow up to this.

“… this prejudice didn’t harden into and actual dogma until the archphilistine Jeremy Bentham got ahold of it - Bentham, that sober, pedantic, lumbering oracle of bourgeois common sense… his place among philosophers is like Martin Tupper’s among poets. Both could only have been produced in England.”

Get fucked lol
