I feel like this is taking forever to get going. I am only 20% in so clearly not forever but still waiting for something to catch my interest

Not really feeling it. The humor is mostly good but the leveling up drudgery is just as bad as actual game leveling up drudgery.

So far this is unreadable, far to many sentences re-read trying to figure out what they mean. Plus it seems like there is 50 pages of content in a 300 page book

I am struggling through this one, a bit too out there for me

Sort of dense word wise right now, not getting the same comraderie as books 1 and 2

Fairly generic boring climate dystopia so far. Not super excited to continue

A personality defect of mine but when I start reading an in depth discussion about what title to call someone based on importance/geneology/etc I want to go set fire to some random mansion in England.

Wow! I though I was near the left end of the political spectrum. Graeber just moved it a few spots.

I have almost given up one this a couple of times already. The MC is super whiney and immature (which is the point unfortuntely). The world building is very good which is they only reason I continue

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times" Very well written and lyrical book about absolutely horrible subject matter. Tough to figure out what I am getting out of it.

Just like many of my mailed in college essays, we just spent the first 20% talking about what we are going to talk about in the next few chapters.

There are some bright points but it is just a bit boring.

I am super conflicted about this book. There is some great stuff but it meanders endlessly and the evil/horror that everything is built on is very unsettling

DNF 25% 100 pages that probably should have been 30. Too much in love with old timey western language.

Might actually finish this before 2023. Love it so far.

This is really good, but my reading time is nowhere to be found right now

There are a bunch of loose ends to tie up and not many pages left....starting to get worried about a messy ending.

Notes for me for the review. I can already tell this is going to be a 5 star for me although this is similar to a variety of other books
