One too many pieces of drama again!

The amount of drama packed into one book is ridiculous. I think there is one too many "issues," but it's still a good story.

Once again, I don't really care. Predictable plot to a T. He's an ass. She's is kind of a moron.

I'm just not that interested.

You find yourself trapped alone in a small cottage with the man you found dying alongside the road and another mysterious, sexy man because of a dangerous rain storm, so now you have to marry the sexy man you refuse to acknowledge as being sexy?

OKAY.

I have a high tolerance for questionable sh*t in historical romances, particularly the older ones. It's just a book and often is a product of it's time. HOWEVER, the fact that Varian, a man in his 30s, is lusting after a woman who he actually believes is a girl about the age of 14 (she is 18, to be clear) is NOT OK. 🤮

I don't know. I'm not that interested in the hero and heroine. Both are perfectly likable, but I am not very interested in their HEA. However, I am interested in the mystery plot.
