First book I've tried to read in 3 days and I'm going to have to DNF it. I don't know what it is, but it's not hitting for me. I hate the "insta-love" trope and this is basically that which I understand it's a novella so that's to be somewhat expected. I'm also just not feeling either of the characters. Maybe I'll try again.

I think this is going to be a soft DNF as I'm just not feeling the sweet MM thing at the moment. I just need something more.

Connor Sr. can get f*cked 🤬 It's been awhile since I've disliked a character this much. Connor Jr. deserves better than that POS for a father.

66% in and I'm still waiting for the "suspense" part of the story because nothing has happened besides 2 minor things and that was long ago. Is this one of those books where like everything happens in like the last 25%?

Ugh, I wish authors would specify if the book it written in 3rd person like in the blurb or something.

My brain doesn't like 3rd person and I actually bought this on KU.

I'll soft DNF for now and maybe try again because I hate wasting money.

This has to be one of the most brainless MMC's that I've ever read, but yet I can't stop reading it 🤦‍♀️

The misinformation in this book is wild, and it's definitely not a book I want to invest my time in, so it'll be a DNFbfor me.

I just knew something was going to happen. This book has been such an easy and heartwarming read, and then BAM, the authors make your heart drop 🥹

Goodness, I'm only 39% in, and these two are already emotionally draining.

I'm all for nicknames or whatever, but this is a bit excessive calling the FMC "gorgeous" so often in such a short amount of time.

I'm only 35% in, so I can hardly imagine how the rest of the book will go or what I'm in for when I get to the 2nd book.

54% in and like nothing has happened. Twenty-three chapters in and most of the book has only been Eli's POV. I was really hoping for more of Javier at this point.

This must be one of those stories where everything happens in the last 30-40 percent (hopefully).

I'm more interested in the 3 guys' dynamic/chemistry. Lily's character does absolutely nothing for me at this point in the story.

As far as I was concerned, he did hang the sun 🌞, the moon 🌙, and all the stars ⭐ in the sky. That's the way he made me feel when we were together, and unless someone could prove otherwise, I had a feeling I would forever feel that way about Grant "Panther" Hughes.

Ugh, I just love this side of Solo 🥰

59% in and like literally nothing has really happened 😴

Ugh, I don't want to start off a new month with a DNF, but I'm having a hard time connecting with the two main characters.
Maybe it's just me, and I'll do a soft DNF for now.
