Ugh, this chapter is ripping my heart out as someone who has lost her father 😭💔

Goodness, I'm only 39% in, and these two are already emotionally draining.

I'm all for nicknames or whatever, but this is a bit excessive calling the FMC "gorgeous" so often in such a short amount of time.

I'm only 35% in, so I can hardly imagine how the rest of the book will go or what I'm in for when I get to the 2nd book.

These two are going to be 🔥 when it all goes down.

54% in and like nothing has happened. Twenty-three chapters in and most of the book has only been Eli's POV. I was really hoping for more of Javier at this point.

This must be one of those stories where everything happens in the last 30-40 percent (hopefully).

I'm more interested in the 3 guys' dynamic/chemistry. Lily's character does absolutely nothing for me at this point in the story.

As far as I was concerned, he did hang the sun 🌞, the moon 🌙, and all the stars ⭐ in the sky. That's the way he made me feel when we were together, and unless someone could prove otherwise, I had a feeling I would forever feel that way about Grant "Panther" Hughes.

Ugh, I don't want to start off a new month with a DNF, but I'm having a hard time connecting with the two main characters.
Maybe it's just me, and I'll do a soft DNF for now.

I enjoyed the first two books of this series, but I am having a hard time with this one. It just isn't grabbing me, but hopefully, it will soon.

When I read this scene in Shannon's POV in Binding 13/Keeping 13, it gutted me, and now reading it in Joey's POV has me even more gutted 😭

I just don't feel the connection between the two main characters. She's like 18, and he's 26 and like all in love in 3 weeks, which happens in plenty of books, but I feel zero chemistry here. It's making it hard to keep pushing through.

I was really hoping this far into the story that the FMC would grow on me, but that's not happening.
I know she is supposed to be this strong FMC, but in my opinion, she is coming across as a b*tch and throwing tantrums.
I almost want to DNF it, but I've made it this far, and just maybe she can redeem herself.

I am really trying to get through this, but the way Briella is treating Dean is really irritating me.

I'm only 7% in, but I already know that things are going to be explosive between Cody and Raphael when that time comes.

Ugh, I really need to get to bed, but I'm so invested in this book!

Oh, I just know that Kane is already going to be right up there with Jeremy in my favorite Rina men.

Luke and Kaden are just so cute together 😍 and their chemistry is whew 🥵

Talk about a slow burn book. 57% in, and nothing has happened. Hopefully, something pops off soon 🥱

Ugh, just when I thought I was done with the tears. Darn you, Leigh. I'm going to need therapy after this trilogy 😢

This book is so good so far, but I am 69% in and already so emotionally drained, and there is still quite a bit more to get through.
