I am frustrated by his extensive, abstract, confusing explanation of therapy from a scientific research lens starting off in section V only for it to be followed by, "I have come to believe that the most basic error [..] was in the description of science. I should like to attempt [...] to correct that error." Why include the "error" in the first place?

I do appreciate his explanation of his 'early years.' More specifically, his personal development in college. The seminar he set up "moved [him] a long way toward a philosophy of life which was [his] own."
I see, later on, how well equipped he is to maintain a different course from learning theory and Freudian psychoanalysis.

I am enjoying the following phrases: "vindictive approval," "hurrying over indolently," "indifferent curiosity," "invisible scar," "dashing and dejected, poised and chagrined," "parturient silence," "lackadaisical haste," and "crepuscular jowls."

I don't know what I do know because what I do know is that I don't know anything.

I need a dictionary handy for all the unfamiliar words
