At first, I wasn't a fan of Eli because of how mean he was to Peter after their date. But he's gotten better.

And then the caretaking after Peter got drunk??? Okay, Eli, you scored more points for me.

And Peter is just a big sweetheart. I'm loving this slow burn. Can't wait to see who admits to falling in love first!

Idk what it is about this book that keeps pulling me in, but I'm taking it!

Maybe all the mysteries? The obvious interest between both MCs? The world building?

Whatever it is, I hope it lasts because I want out of this slump!

I don't normally like fast-paced, but I think the audio by Harley Chase and how it was written is just perfect!
