I have since that the author is trying to redeem Cope negative traits in this book. While he does sound like a great I think cope shortcomings should have been mentioned.

Pro cope narrative marketing?

This experience of mine is another instance of the fact that the human brain forgets nothing, and will yield up everything when the right kind of stimulus is applied.

Reading this side by side with Fossil hunters got to be a interesting experience. This whole book covers Copes fossil expedition to badlands in Montana. I think so far the event are a little different from Sternberg in his original account, but I do see how the character are a little over exaggerated compared to to the real counters parts. Cope feels like a good guy base of what Crichton and Sternberg write. But irl?

I am reading this book side by side with Dragon Teeth and I find the overlap of non fictional characters with the real in this book. I think Dragon teeth take inspiration.

I find it intriguing how some early palaeontology are related to the Wild West. But I have doubts that the writer is a non fiction writer, feels academic.
