I need to read this book, and so far, I'm having a hard time finding enough mental stamina to stay focused on it. ::Sigh::

I was supposed to move on Labor Day but I changed my flight to two days later, so I'm intentionally savoring this book for my travels. I couldn't wait to start, though. So far, this is so good!

I'm glad I decided not to give up on Grogan's writing after Marley And Me. This book is much more interesting. But maybe it's because I also have a deeper appreciation for memoirs that is beyond intellectual.

This is technically a reread, but the first time I read it, I was not actively using Goodreads. I want to write a proper reflections piece on it, and I remember that I absolutely love this book. So I'm rereading this to refresh my memory.

::Gulps:: I don't know that I'm grasping everything in this book fully so far because mathehmatics is not an area I'm well-versed in. But I don't feel as intimidated as I thought I would when I started. 😌

Frankly, I've never liked Victoria Stilwell's professional persona, but that has been based on her TV shows, some of her articles and the interviews I've watched. I've never read her book though, so I'm curious...

I don't teach in a classroom setting but I'm in heaven reading this book, and I wish I had had access to it when I began teaching sixteen years ago. It's difficult reading about some of the mistakes novice teachers make and nodding my head, thinking: Crap, I did that. It's forcing me to look at my teaching skills and... feeling humble.

I wish I had not waited so long to start this. This is so good… Hilarious, too.

I'm feeling a bit unsettled in my life right now for a multitude of reasons including the political storm we are going through. I think this book is just what I need right now, and I want to savor it as much as possible, so I will be reading a little bit every day until it's over.

This is fascinating and a riveting read.

This is my escape/give my brain a break book. Not sure what I think of the story yet, but the writing is lovely.

This is a bit dry.

I love the combination of some of the chapters performed in front of a live audience and the rest of them recorded in a studio. I almost resent having to work today so that I could just keep listening to this book.
