Topic character vs society: Paul and his great house have made it on to dune. The average day gets as hot as 175 degrees so you cannot survive on the planet without certain tools or clothing. Paul is studying the planets history and its people the Fremen. While he is doing so a small piloted assassin robot almost like a fly tries to kill him and Paul manged to squeeze it while his family tries to find the culprit.

Topic: Character vs Self: The protagonist of my book is Paul Atriedes the prince of house Atriedes. In this advanced Society order is established in the universe by the great house or the current rulers. Paul is Prince of House Atriedes soon to become ruler after his father. Paul is also prophesied to be, " The One" or the being who can bridge space and time to the one who can see past and future.

Topic: Character vs self, The Protagonist of my book is Paul Atriedes this book takes place in a advanced society in the year 10,291 in which order has been established by the great houses or the current rulers of order in the Dune universe. Paul is next in line because is father is ruler of one of the great houses. There is lots of pressure on him because he is also supposed to be, " The One" or the all seeing God.

Topic: Characterization, Emily is very emotional she feels she has no one to talk to but Rowan. SHe shares with Rowan all her secrets because Rowan does the same with her. She talks to Rowan about her problems and her day hoping that Rowan will comfort her as he always has. I think she also feels she can talk to rowan because she hasn't even met him yet. Emily has has a lot of self control over her actions.

Making connections: My character and a strange other person are making connections through letters. They both mail each other about there week at the end of each week. The girl tells the boy about her week and he does the same. The girl feels troubled though she thinks if she asked the boy if they could meet in person he'd say no or she would lose the connection she had with them.

Types of Conflict:The conflict is character vs self because Ellie is having a hard time making friends and becoming popular. She just wants to fit in but she wants to figure out herself before she can figure out anyone else.She wants to have at least 2 friends by the end of the summer. She is seen as clumsy, weird, and goofy kid at school and she is wondering how she can fix that.

Conflict: Character vs. self Raina is trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. In the process she is facing many difficult challenges and is trying to figure out who she is and who she wants to be. Raina is a middle school er who just started 6th grade. She is noticing new changes within herself and body. She is starting to like boys but is making new friends. She is trying to figure things out.

Inciting incident: the incident right now is that katniss still isn't satisfied with her win. She feels that she has to do something more. I think she feels that even though she won her mission is still incomplete as long as the capitol remains there will always be a terror in the world.

Rags to Riches: Where I am in the story Katniss has come a long way and still has ways to go. She started in the district killed and conquered to get to where she is now. She became a victor of the hunger games. She became well known among the capitol and even stood a threat to them. Inside the games she grew as a person as she saw lives taken before her eyes. After she won the games she became famous she becamerich.

Topic: Supporting Characters, A minor character in my story is peeta he plays a decent role in the story as katniss's boyfriend and hunger games partner. Peeta is a important figure in katniss's life and so they both feel strongly for each other.

topic: Visualize

In my book not often do I get to visualize the words they are describing. The only time I was actually able to visualize something was during the hunger games. Where I am in the book the hunger games just started again. Then I started to visualize fear, anger, hostility, and more. As soon as katniss and petta got on the chariot you could feel the tention in the air.

When I read this book it is hard to spot connections but I do see a very select few of them from time to time. Like I noticed that I and some of the characters have some connections or are put in the same situations. Like being tired or having connections with friends.

Topic: Characterization, I'm jugging Katnisses charterer of her actions because she is mostly active in the book. She is a very overcoming character and strives for what she wants. She also can have many unexpected changes. She can surprise you or cross you but that's what gives her character.

Protagonist: The main villain or threat is the capital right now. The capital is a threat to all districts but behind the scene makes deals with certain districts. Like district 12 the hunger games most recent winner. A couple months after the victory of district 12 a capital official comes and talks to katness. He seeks a way to end all of the drama with the recent victory. That is my current Protagonist.

Topic: Genre, the genre of this book seems to be based around a dystopian science fiction world. It is very high tech but parts of it are very poor regular cities so its like a mix.

Static vs. Dynamic characters: In my book there are 2 main characters. One of them is named Katniss. In my opinion she has changed throughout the book through her emotions. So I would say she is a Dynamic character. The second main character is Petta. He feels more like a Static character to me. I say this because I don't know much about him and he seems to always be the same.

Questions: I have almost finished the book but I still have very few questions. I also have very curious questions.

Sometimes I don't understand why the main characters of a book make the decisions that they do. Most of the time it's confusing, I also wonder why the main characters put themselves in danger for a random person they just met.

I am very confused, but by the end of the book I think I will understand.

Protagonist: In my book there is more than one main protagonist. All of the other tributes except for a few are the main protagonists. Since katniss is in the "Hunger games" everyone is her enemy.

Katniss also stands against the capitol and their cruel ways of entertainment.
The tributes/protagonists are all strong, fast, tough and athletic competition for Katniss.

Prediction: In my book I'm not too far in but where I'm at they're just starting the games. I predict that Katniss will find her bow and team up with enemy teams. Before the game starts Katniss says, " I remembered Haymitch said to not engage right away but when I saw the bow I knew it was mine." So I predict that she will get her bow kill 1 or 2 people and team up with Peta.

Conflict: The conflict in hunger games is mostly focusing on the main character Katniss kinda against the capitol and is going against them.
I say this because the capitol limits the food supply they get to her district and the capitol limits to the places she can go. The capitol also requires her district to participate in the hunger games a battle to the death. So I don't think Katniss likes the capitol/community.

P.O.V: I am currently reading the hunger games and so far this book in my opinion is being told in 1st person. It seems like this book is being told by the main character Katniss is telling a story entirely on her own.

Setting: This book took place in the 1970s and it was mostly in Vietnam and the US/California that involved a little girl moving from Vietnam to California because of the war. Topic: the girl's name is Ha' and towards the middle of the book it starts showing that Ha' is struggling to adapt to this new place that she is really not used to. I thought it was kinda interesting seeing someone who isn't used to our lives.
