Topic character vs society: Paul and his great house have made it on to dune. The average day gets as hot as 175 degrees so you cannot survive on the planet without certain tools or clothing. Paul is studying the planets history and its people the Fremen. While he is doing so a small piloted assassin robot almost like a fly tries to kill him and Paul manged to squeeze it while his family tries to find the culprit.

Paul is next in line because is father is ruler of one of the great houses. There is lots of pressure on him because he is also supposed to be, " The One" or the all seeing God.
