The dialogue makes my brain thump. The build up happens, then someone opens their mouth to say something, and it’s an utter let down. Oof! Wasted moments

“You’re so fucking pathetic” agreed. Why do authors write their FMC’s like they’ve had lobotomies? Off to a 1 star start.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t expect you to take off your bra.”

Really? God, this writing is painful.

“My dead heart squeezes uncomfortably for her, because she's much too pretty to eat alone.”

So if she wasn’t pretty it’d be fine if she ate alone? What an awful, insensitive, and shameful line.

Also, why was the funeral in her POV? Ugh

Seriously, a not even a couple hours after a funeral and that’s when they wanna f*!€ I’m here for the smut, but be so fucking for real. Not to mention his trauma 😒

I knew their story was going to shatter me, but fuck—

Dragging a bit. Overly detailed writing that should have been condensed. Still pushing through because I love Adam and the I want to get to book two.

Oof, trying too hard to prove relevance. The Reddit reference took me out 💀 not to mention all the over explaining. I don’t know if I can get through this. It’s a 1 star read, so far.

Enjoying the book so far but author is wayyyyyyy too repetitive. Like obnoxiously so. Ugh! #annoyed
