This story is so intriguing, yet so stereotypical YA? Right now my money is on the SAW 1 twist.

The story is good, if a little too convenient, almost choregraphed at times. Maybe that will be explained later, or it is just very YA; e.g. they get coins for food, but also necessities and end up needing a specific item that inconveniences the food supply for everyone... dun dun duuun.

I guess Spencer is supposed to sound like Damien, but to me he just sounds like John/Jigsaw.

I am choosing to ignore that the side arcs were mediocre, because I love the main arc so much.

Wow, this book is really, really creepy. Like a mix of The Haunting of ... tv shows and the SAW movies. I like it!

I really don't like Gaspode.

I love this book already! It has lgbtqia+-rep and Sam Vimes!

Love the "be who you are and not who people believe you to be" message. And 'Vimes is back in town', which makes me miss The Watch very much... All in all, I really like this book.

Love the twist and it is so nice to meet Charlie.

I love Sand dan Glokta so much! What a fascinating character... and all those twists in the end are really astounding.

Still one of the best twist in a fantasy series.

A little jumpy and not as entertaining as book 2 so far... and most of all disappointing, no Hannibal yet, but a letter.

Probably my least anticipated of the Discworld books, because of football and the wizards... Turns out it does have Havelock Vetinari in it, whom I adore, and the typical humor is helping the plot along quite nicely.

I love Sand and Ardee sooo much. Every interaction is superb entertainment.

They way Harry finds out about Tom's Horcruxes is so very, very convenient...

The suspense was top-notch! And Hannibal is on the loose. Can't wait to read the last book in the trilogy, now!

Ah, the iconic lines! This book is really so much better than the first. More Hannibal for one, ...

That was really educational... and Hannibal Lecter finally got some page time.

Damn fine book. Dark, funny and gory. Beloved and insufferable characters aplenty.

This book is so much funnier than the first and I like Clarice - even so I keep picturing Anna Chlumsky instead of Jodie Foster...

And the first half of HP 7 somehow suffers from second book syndrome as well. There is just so much waiting around and discovering stuff. I still don't get why this needed a seperate movie...

This is fine example of second book syndrome.
