A huge pet peeve of mine is when a narrator says "Sigh" instead of sighing. It's not a big thing, but it's easy enough to do to really sell the character instead of taking a reader out of the magic of listening to an audiobook with such a small, silly word. IDK, I'm probably hangry or something, but this bugs me EVERY TIME and it's already happened at least twice in this book LOL.

I'm having such a great time with this so far!

This is fine, but not really what I was expecting. The MCs act far younger than I'd anticipate, to the point of teenage angst at times and it's frustrating since they're post-grad/doctorate adults. IDK, if I hadn't already bought Temple of Swoon and The Lust Crusade in the recent Audible sale IDK that I'd continue with this author. Hopefully those are better, though!
