Don't Look Inside
The writing is so....juvenile? A colleague recommended this book and I just can’t get into it. I have to put it away for now (this is usually next to impossible for me so you can imagine my boredom).

Fuzzy Navel (Jack Daniels #6)
I am having the time of my life! What a thrill ride... Even better than a roller coaster with upside down loops running at breakneck speed without restraints. And, here I thought this might be the dullest novel of the series since the main plot involves vigilante snipers. Boy, was I wrong! I need to keep reading.......

The Interview by Adrian Chamberlin was a VERY short story. However, it was quite effective in getting its point across. I liked the mixture of horror and dark humor. There was a bit of a plot hole in regards to why the main character was not prosecuted to the full extent of the law after killing six patients.

Help! Wanted: Tales of On-the-Job Terror
The next story was "Grist" by Zak Jarvis. Unique, science fiction-type short story that was actually quite intriguing. The biggest issue I had with it was that it felt like a chapter within a bigger framework. It was a bit hard to figure out exactly what was going on. By the time I reached the conclusion, I felt that pieces of the puzzles were missing and/or quite blurry and required more expansion/explanation.

Help! Wanted: Tales of On-the-Job Terror
The 4th story is Carpool by Gregory Norris. I really enjoyed this story until the end. The story wrapped up in a way that I didn't expect and I felt it left too many questions unanswered. It gave the feel of a cop-out in which the author rushed the ending. Unfortunate, as the rest of the story was intriguing.

Help! Wanted: Tales of On-the-Job Terror
Read the first story: The Chapel of Unrest by Stephen Volk. It was not a great story. It lagged in some places but was very descriptive. It probably would work well as a episode on a program like 'Tales from the Crypt' if it were made for TV. It did not evoke for me a sense of terror or horror... Mainly because the story about the prison in Ushpur was not expanded. The ending was predictable.

I'm having a great ol' time! Made it to Chapter 10 and I can't wait to see what will happen next. Wolfman vs Thug. I kinda like George even though he is a bit of a selfish goon... He reminds me of a knight in shining armor who lost his armor and part of his common sense. Oh well!! Makes him even more likable. What a tragic hero!!!

Crap! I think Rob bit the dust (but you never know). Garner is my new hero. Here I thought he was just a nerdy researcher with some amazing connections but he is just plain wicked. He better make it because Garton should bring him back in another book.
