Cute so far. Sometimes it grips me then it lets go. Two main characters are cool. But I don’t understand why Sage doesn’t just ask her uncle for help. There are some inconstancies in this story. Like they’re saying but the uncle hasn’t said a word. Her apartment burnt and she’s over there talking about not wanting charity. Ok. But she’s cool crashing with strangers. Okay.

Okay..so I just experienced my first unreliable narrator. First huge plot twist. And I don’t know how to feel. Like woah. I didn’t see it coming but it deffo explains her naivety even more now. Like her lack of urgency to the police. Crazy.

I’m really having a hard time pretending as if it’s normal for Jordyn to find out her friends might be dead, her still choosing to live with the potential killer while the police actively investigating her.
We’re beyond reason. Your life is in danger. People have died. They’re actively throwing you under the bus. Why haven’t we reported anything.

Icl, Jordyn isn’t serious about what is currently being done to her. Like her life in my opinion is in danger and she’s still trying to save girls who don’t wanna be saved. You first girl Tf. Like save yourself first and report him and what he’s doing. Also where is campus security. How can an adult camp at a student accommodation for MONTHS with no one blinking. Very unserious uni in my opinion.

These girls are COOKED! I didn’t know this is how people slowly fall into a cult. It can truly happen to any one of us. Just now noticed the cover of the book. PEAK.

Something is not right about him. Like his energy feels fake.

This Devonte guy reminds me of the Boondocks episode when Huey went to visit his old friends and say “wassup?” And the friend “wassup? The struggle is up brother, oppression is up…” lol something like that. Devonte is WOKE. So far hes a bit corny. Nothing about him is attractive. Only Karime seem attractive.

Chapter 4 by far the most chaotic chapter so far. Now I’m kinda getting the idea of the culture around here. The men at that hockey building are horrid. Peters home life stresses me out. His wife almost rattled me a bit but then again not because she’s right about the importance of her job vs his. The children are even worse. But so far great writing. Love the style of the book. Fast paced but I’m trying.

This one is kind of a drop off from the last two books so far. But I think it’s because it’s been a while since I was in this “work” and also I hate anxiety. I have a lot of it. Tense or suspense makes me anxious.

The level of cringe has been massively increased in this third book. Omds lol. It’s like characters are robotic. I still like the story but yeah. It’s just something cringy about their movements and actions

There’s a lot of repetitiveness so far. Like details being told to be two or three times in the perspective of different characters. It’s dragging along a bit.

Lovely story and I love their chemistry. It’s cute. I just am not looking forwards to the third act. Hes gonna find her notes for her book thinking it’s about him and break up with her. Possibly say some mean things. Or their lie will be exposed and her digging about his side business will also be revealed. Either way I’m dreading it. That’s why it’s taking me so long to finish this book.

1) Declan is going discover her book or at least the notes and freak out thinking this is what she thinks of him. Hes gonna think what they had was never special because these are her real thoughts (reminds me of Wild Child plot)
2) She should really kind her business. Curiosity was never that serious esp with someone who has treated her as well as him.
3) I don’t trust her friend.

This story has a slow start. I mean I’m interested and the neighbours are clearly very weird. The lady next door was low-key triggering me. I can see now that this story is a mystery suspense type. It’s getting clearer but icl I feel a bit down and lazy to go on because of the slowness but also because I know she loses this battle. Prologue she was in the mental hospital so I’m a little upset about that.

Lulu has so much going on in her head I don’t even know how to fix it for her.

Done with chapter 5 and I still don’t know what the book is about. Although now it’s giving off a supernatural eerie and suspense vibe.
In the chapter it was briefly mentioned that her husband might start travelling. She freaked out a bit but idk I saw it as a great opportunity for freedom. He doesn’t help anyway. Her concerns are valid though.

Strong first chapter. I mean I still don’t know what the book is about but what I can see is a clear and obvious problem.
She’s slyly convincing herself that everything is fine when it’s not. She’s revealed that she got coerced into accepting her life rn. Also obvious signs of Postpartum etc.

This book is low-key rage baiting me in the worst way. Luca is angering me. The story is taking a very annoying turn and I hate how it’s painting Giana as the villain here. The trigger her, insult her and then she’s still expected to not react. Also I’m annoyed at her lack of injuries as if she wasn’t in that car dodging bullets. Where’s the empathy towards her.

I just clocked Valentina has no self respect. A shame truly.
This is such a good concept of a story and if done right it would have banged. Unfortunately what I’ve picked up from author (after reading 2 of her mafia books before this) is that there’s never true depth to the story. Only spice.
Disappointing.

Valentina is better than me cause I would have just ignored him, took my L and started living my life. Flirt here and there. Shop. Gym. Hell I’d even consider starting a business to busy myself.
I’d even move to another room and decorate it to my liking.
I never needed a man. Ever.

Good book so far. I don’t understand why she’s not making him suffer more. Had the perfect leverage cause he is the guilty party. Mxm. Why aren’t we talking about why and where she got that note and key. Is the cousin involved with this or was she being a girls girl and warning her inlaw. Why would she risk her life to warn Aria even though they’re not close. Does she hate Luca? These are the questions.

Omds I just realised why this dumb ass girl is about to make things worse for her husband. Omds. Cassio has been trying hard to hide this story from Luca but now hes about to know cause dummy over here just can’t do the simple thing of going home. Literally Cassio would have resolved this. Omds.

Man wtf is going on. Has Giulia lost her mind. So instead of just telling her husband about the mess his father made. She’s over here going back and forth in a pregnant state to talk to everyone BUT her husband. Like what was the point of going to her parents place when she knew how they were. Now she’s going to LUCA of all people. Making a big unnecessary mess.

So far so good. The book is written well. I like the story so far. I really do like the mystery behind what happened to the wife. Like it seems infidelity was involved and the son saw some of it that’s why he’s scared of his father.
I’m really intrigued.
I also want Giulia to go out and mingle with other wives. I need to know more about their circle and society.

So far the writing is good. The story is off to an emotional and interesting start.
I obv don’t like the age difference but I’ll keep reading. Hopefully it doesn’t cringe me out.

Idk if I’m the type of boring reader who hates bad things always happening or if urban fic writers have a trauma fetish. I knew something else was gonna happen. Really I expected another act of violence. Or a miscarriage. But now their baby has Down syndrome. I hate that. Erin has been through so much. It’s almost unfair. It’s uncomfortable subject cause those babies deserve love too.

Took me a while to get into reading again but we’re here. So yea so far it’s cool. First book still better buy we’re not done yet. Erin is a fool for insisting on working. Capri doesn’t deserve this bum she calls a husband. Sad the girl died. I feel like Timmy is still alive and Capone and them are cautious enough. Goes around making enemies and not ensuring his fam is safe fr.

Okay book 2. Hopefully will be just as good. So far it’s just meeh. Erin and Capone relationship is toxic. Timmy bring his son complicates things in my opinion cause Erin hates him and Capri hates Tasha and Ella is bffs with Tasha. Lmao a mess. Oh and Nahiem is messing with Tasha 💀
If Erin knew what was good for her, she’d leave cause she has the least to lose out of everyone here.

Uum okay. We have hit a slight decline. It’s going down but still salvageable. First he needs to stop with the constant gorgeous. It’s cringe. Second I don’t like how the brother issue was handled. This girls emotions weren’t properly handled. I think obv she was always gonna help with the baby but the disrespect and attitude towards her hasn’t been addressed. They let him go easy. I dont like that.
