I lift my hand to his face, brushing my thumb over his cheek. This perfect man… who’s the complete opposite of me in so many ways, yet also my perfect match. Andrea is right… finding love hasn’t been easy.
But I’ve found it with him.

my forevers

I want to spend every moment with him, listening to him talk about the things he loves, bask in his quiet comfort, and help him feel safe and good in this world. I want to build that world for us, the one we talked about weeks ago when we were still getting to know each other. To be wild and free, together.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

But I make myself stop and squeeze my backpack straps again.
When I glance up at Trevor, all he does is smile at me.
He always seems to do that. He doesn’t tell me to stop talking, he doesn’t walk away, and he doesn’t roll his eyes.
People do that.
He doesn’t.
I don’t know why.

TRIPP AND DEX HAVE KIDS??!????

Ayri Quinn. He recently announced that this is his last year, and he’ll be retiring to become a stay-at-home dad to the baby he shares with Buffalo’s head trainer, Vance.

OH MY BABIES I WANNA SCREAM THEYRE DADS😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Sam cups my face. “My Disney Princess.”
I don’t hate that name so much anymore. I lean in and press my lips against his. “My Prince Charming.”

He laughs, then grabs my chin and presses a lingering kiss to my lips. “Gotta go. See you at home, babe.”
I try not to melt into my chair.
See you at home.
This is actually real life.
And I get to live it.

my babies😭😭😭😭

“But are you actually happy?”
“Yes.” He hurries to sit up, getting closer to the screen. “You’re not?”
“Lachie, you make me happier than every single person I’ve ever met.” But I can’t lie to him. “You also make me the saddest as well.”
His gaze drops away. “I know. I’m sorry. We just have to … to …”
Make it through seven years?

“I don’t want you to go, I tell him silently.
I wish I could stay, his eyes tell me right back.
All the wants ballooning between us have nowhere to go and fizzle out instead.
I knew what this was when I signed up for it.
I just didn’t realize I was signing up for heartbreak as well.”

i’m scared on how they’re gonna end this book.. i literally have no ideas (i am slightly bored tho)

“Is everyone here queer?”
“That is why we’re called the Queer Collective.”
“Is it?” A man passing stops in front of me. “I thought it was because we’re queer and Ezra is collecting us.”

LOL

THIS IS SO GOOD SO FAR WTF (pls dont ruin it eden)

“You got into a fight for me,” I tease him.
Bilson huffs. “No one touches my goalie.”
“Your goalie … or me?”
His glare is adorable.

“Good.” I press a big kiss to the camera. “Bye, babe.”
His whole face softens, and he whispers, “Miss you.”
Fuck. I’ve never spoken words I mean more when I answer, “Miss you too.”

lwk forgot how cute these two are

Ayri Quinn skates by, and my gaze follows him.
It always follows him.

I want more.
More of him.
More of us.
I just want … more.

i am insane

Then he gives me an absolutely heart-stopping smile.
Damn, little hockey player.

I turn around so he can see his name and glance back at him over my shoulder. “I’m told he’s an okay player, but I haven’t had a chance to look him up yet.”
“Damn.” Aleks slaps his helmet, bright eyes fixed on me, and only snaps out of it when his team starts to leave the ice. “I gotta go. You better watch me.”
“Why the fuck do you think I’m here?”

absolute peak if you ask me

ᶜʰᵃᵖᵗᵉʳ ¹⁻ I’ve done comfortable. I want … zing. And the thought of Quinn doesn’t give me zing.

ᶜʰᵃᵖᵗᵉʳ ²⁻ He doesn’t look away. Just stares. And this shivery sort of awareness runs through me.
“Zing,” he whispers before passing out.

lane is so sexy

“I told you early on that I’m only temporary.” He says each word carefully like he’s trying to make a point. “That I’m no one’s forever home.”
My heart breaks for him. And us. I want to shake some goddamn sense into him. He’s disappointed and hurting, but I’m the person he’s supposed to share that with. That’s what a partner is for.

“You’re adorably homicidal today.”
“I’ll be adorably vicious.”
“I’m looking forward to it.”
“Stop annoying me when I’m so close to committing murder, Marcus.”

cutie istg

“Marcus touches my forehead with his, his harsh yet grounding eyes still holding mine. Close. Not blinking.
Just there.
Like no one else ever has been.
As the heat bleeds through his forehead to mine, he whispers, “There you are, my prince.”
Something in my heart shifts, jostles, and breaks.”

aside from the hating on someone just because theyre a bastard this is quite okay
