I cried. Hearing him talk about Hannah about how much he loved her and how much he loves Avery will never not make me cry. Good dad’s and husbands are my downfall.

LYRASON OR GRAYLYRA IDK IS EVERYTHING 🥹 that “Give me your jacket?” was SO sweet! And his smile and the way he’s so in love and the way he said “May I kiss you, Lyra Kane?” Aaaaa I’m dying. Can I have that, God? Please? Grayson Hawthorne is THE STANDARD! He’s up there with Jamie, Elliot, and Percy. ❤️🫶🏽

I honestly don’t get where all of this information fit. Alice Hawthorne, Eve, Rohan drowning, Calla Thorp, Calla lilies, Knox and Alisa (spoiler)… This story is not very interesting to be honest, except for Grayson and Lyra kissing twice of course! 😌

Gray is a hopeless romantic and I’m here for it! 🥹Him defending Lyra and Nash going “how far gone are you, little brother.” That was so cute. “Far enough.” Was cuter though.

“I’m coming over.” The way his whole family cares about her and roots for them to be together is so incredibly beautiful to me 🥹God can I have that in my life, please?

This is one DEVASTATING story. I sobbed for like half an hour? I didn’t see that coming. I think the most special thing in this book for me was never the romance but her relationship with her Dad. And him having died that night was just so much for me and my eyes are watery again. I honestly can’t imagine how hard it must have been for Macy AND I’m crying again. Devastating.

I’m heartbroken this book went down this path. I’m genuinely so sad. He cheated after proposing over the phone, then he blames her for never wanting to talk to him again and he freaking tells her to leave his brother’s wedding AFTER he screwed her in a garden? I swear that if I was Macy I would have punched him so hard on the face. So freaking hard. I would have killed him. She’s a saint actually.

Their love as kids/teens is so beautiful that it actually makes me sad they are not real people.

I’m flying through this book. Elliot is super cute. Sean can go to hell. That would only be a shame because Phoebe would miss him.

It’s 3:39 I’ve been reading since I don’t know 10:30? This book is really good, but it’s a SLOW burn. Focus on the slow! When she said she fell in love with him at 14 I thought she had realized it at 14. But they’ve been friends for 3 years up until the point I’ve read the book. They don’t even touch that often😭😭I’m ngl I’m a little disappointed.

I’ve been reading this book since what December 1st or something? It’s just that I read the sample on Amazon and it just took a long time to get here but it’s finally here and I’m so grateful and it’s sooo good. Elliot and Macy are everything!

“Keeping it in the family: the Hawthorne way.” Lol Xander is hilarious.

Secret Santa was so fun I loved this one. It started super fun and games but then it ended with a very sweet message about friendship (that wasn’t all that sweet for a moment because it was Avery and Grayson and I don’t like that combination, but I think it was cool).

I guess it’s a 5 stars for Five Times Xander Tackled Someone and One Time He Didn’t. I smiled and I smiled and I also cackled 100% of the time during this one! So fun! I love Xander! I also love Max.❤️

5 stars to The Same Backward As Forward. Hate Toby for leaving, then hate him for leaving again. He could have changed his name too. Could have been Avery’s dad, could have lived a beautiful life with Hannah and the daughter that in his heart is his. I hate the fact that Hannah left this world. I hate that all she wanted was to protect Avery and she had to go and her little girl was in the wild.

I’m not done with it yet, but after reading the same backward as forward I’m more team Jameson than I was before. Jameson and Avery are Toby and Hannah but they got their happy ending. They’ve been together for 3 years. The difference is that Jameson didn’t leave. Jameson knew he was all fucked up but he stayed. He chose her because she was choosing him and honor be damned. He chooses to be better FOR her.
