A short non fiction book to hopefully pull me out of my reading slump

Craziest book I’ve ever read?! Genuinely no idea what any of it was about, the plot hardly went anywhere, and every thread was left loose, but I was thoroughly entertained and I enjoyed the journey 🫪 cmon literature

Quite dense in parts and also I have no idea whats going on but I am thoroughly enjoying it nonetheless 😊

this has been in my top 5 tbr’s for over a year now so v v v excited to finally be getting round to reading it :)

This is one of my fav films but I didn’t realise it was a book first, so when I found out I obviously bought a copy but lowkey it reads like YA :/

Not sure this one was for me… it was an amalgamation of writing styles with very little plot to support it. It felt more like an experiment in prose rather than a fully-fledged novel, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing? I can also tell the author enjoyed writing this, and there were parts where I enjoyed reading it, but on the whole it never truly clicked for me and I found myself having to plough through it :(

My 100th book on goodreads and its a weird one🤨 also it has referred to a penis as a “meat thermometer” - thoughts? x
