Really hoping for a crazy reveal at the end

I think that this story is so clever and fun! It’s no Evelyn Hugo or Carrie Soto, but I think it’s relatable, fun, and heartfelt when it needs to be. This is my second read, and I would absolutely recommend it, especially if you’re in a reading rut and just need something easy and fun to enjoy.

That was really important to me personally and I think it’s worth noting in this memoir about being a closeted queer person in the Mormon church whilst navigating fame at a young age.

This is a niche comparison, but if you’ve seen the musical Carousel, you know how you’re fully locked in until Julie says, “Someone can hit you and it feels like they’re kissing you and it doesn’t hurt at all?” And you’re like WAIT HUH??? That’s what reading this book is like. It’s great, just like Carousel, but every now and then he says something that makes you go HUHHHHHHHH (see previous update)
