I know this book is controversial and the reviews are all over the place... (reading is subjective) and no, it’s not the best dark romance I’ve ever read. But let’s be honest… it’s entertaining, it’s addictive. And the moment Ryat started to melt for her? Yeah. I melted too. I said what I said😌🔥

It's giving cruel prince vibes but different. So far so good overall! Just a pinch of confusion here and there. I'm glad I started reading the Demi Gods of San-Fransisco before this was published... otherwise I'll feel way more lost. But I'm excited to continue reading!

I’m only a little way in and I already have so many mixed feelings 😩 Some things just aren’t clicking for me... And the coffee scene that was meant to hit hard felt oddly off. I keep pausing like “wait… am I missing something?” Still, I’m pushing through because I need to know where this goes (for now) 🙈
