Maven is genuinely so cruel and evil it’s sickening, and it’s CRAZY to see his plans as a dictator trying to push the people he’s oppressing to his cause. It feels so helpless and overwhelming with all the propaganda and careless killing of people that it feels exactly like our current political situation in a horrific way. this book is insane

I love the Aphrodite and Hephaestus plot, I hope we see more of them. also I’m so glad Hera is in the next chapter
