Maven is genuinely so cruel and evil it’s sickening, and it’s CRAZY to see his plans as a dictator trying to push the people he’s oppressing to his cause. It feels so helpless and overwhelming with all the propaganda and careless killing of people that it feels exactly like our current political situation in a horrific way. this book is insane

it’s taking a while to get into this book, but THIS was really interesting. I’m certain that Evangeline is actually part of a rebellion and I love that she’s actually with Elane. I really hope she doesn’t write a redemption arc for Maven, I hate him

my PREDICTION is that command is actually gonna be a bunch of silvers and Evangeline is gonna be one of them. I hope she has a redemption arc in some way cause she’d be awesome if she wasn’t a jerk
also I don’t really like Cameron, I understand her point of view on some things but also why are you hating on Mare this much. hope this POV gets better
