Odysseus going straight for the lie, Athena immediately scolding Odysseus for not recognising her, Odysseus scolding her for abandoning him for 10 years and then immediately making up is so funny to me for some reason, it’s probably the most human interaction I’ve read in this book

so not only did the crew not care that odysseus sacrificed six men, but they did have food stores from circe AND were able to fish, but they just killed the cows anyway 😭
