Finished the 1st chapter and immediately texted my therapist to make an appointment so I believe the intended outcome is happening? I hope so. But let’s just say if this chapter of identifying symptoms was a test I passed with flying colors. Whether that should be jarring or comforting I’m not sure but I feel both.

So I’m choosing to jump around on this one because certain issues are more pressing than other at this moment lol. I’ll keep people posted, so far though it’s very good and an easily digestible read

Well, I've done it once again. Against all my better intentions, I've flown through a book without documenting my journey. I'll get 'em next time! Maybe. What a fantastic book, though!! Everything is so wonderfully connected, and the characters are so easy to fall in love with despite the short time we know them (243 days). I can't wait to go back and find more of McBride's connections; this book is worth re-reading!

I actually started reading a few days ago, and initial thoughts are that I love the way this is written in poem form. It makes the words used feel more intentional and it gives the notion that everything being said has deep personal meaning to the main character, Moth. I’m interested to know more about Sani. I wonder how the pair’s relationship will progress with the whole “I see you” trope.

I wish I had updated more about this book but I was mostly at work when I was reading it.

Overall thoughts thus far since I’m almost finished, Percy is so funny, also I love the way these characters were written they act like children and I feel like in TV or in most fantasy/mythological stories now the characters ages aren’t reflective of how they are

When he first sees her (Percy is half conscious at this point) and he goes “a pretty girl, her blonde hair curled like a princess’s”

Love the foreshadowing! This is all just about to be little things I didn’t notice when I was reading these at 12 😁

Anyways, I’m excited to experience Percy Jackson again YIPPEE!!

Overall I can’t stop crying KoA is so gut wrenching

Ok so I’ve been reading on the boat w/o service but updates:

Aelin and Fenrys being held captive was and is so incredibly gut wrenching but their escape/rescue made me sigh in such relief

I’m tired of Aedion being pissed at Lysandra tho like ok we get it but this is war so put your ego aside

Also Manorian x the Thirteen is such a silly combo but also not because it’s war yk?

Finally PREGNANT YRENE?!?

Already cried twice and I’m not even close to finished.

I fear this finale will wreck me
