This is my back burner book since I am focusing on holiday reads. But, now it is back burner because that is the energy it is giving. I really was excited, as I loved If We Were Villains, but so far this reads like a completely different author. It should be energetic and exciting, but it is thus far lethargic.

Listening to this one with my mom, so progress is off and on over the month. We listened to the first one together last year. It is a fun seasonal listen!

very much written as a fairy tale read one chapter / story at a time, which is nostalgic. however, the content is hit or miss based on the lesson and other characters so far.

Final bookclub book of the year!

I fear it’s extremely predictable for a book trying to be suspenseful. Otherwise, it’s good.

I’ll be honest, took until about 45% of the way to get into it and only until about 50% until I decided what I thought happened…. Now just to finish to see if I’m right.
