Really enjoyed. Loved the atmosphere. Very creepy!

I loved this book so much and didn't want it to be over! It's a new favorite that felt like an old favorite... if that makes sense lol. It made me laugh, cry, hold my breath, exclaim aloud like a crazy person while listening to the audiobook (which was fantastic). It was delightful and broke my heart in the best ways, Honestly, I never wanted it to end.

WTAF?!!! If I'd been reading a physical copy rather than listening to the audiobook, this would've been one of the rare occasions I'd been tempted to throw the book across the room. Instead, my dogs just looked at me like I'm crazy when I randomly yelled "No! No! No!", sat down in the nearest seat, and started crying.

I loved this novella so much and want more! I'm greedy lol

"The dark man fled across the snow, and Arthur Oakes followed."

This line made me ridiculously happy. I love when Joe Hill and Stephen King reference each other's worlds in their books!

Loving this book; just wish I had more time to sit and read it.

I'm only 12% into the audiobook, but I already love this story and know it's going to be a favorite book!

I’m loving this series!

Immediately starting book 2 after finishing book 1 because I need to know what this house has in store for it's next owners.

I really enjoyed this novella. Loved the Gothic atmosphere and vibes. Early on there were moments that made me go "whoa!", then "WTF?", then some gruesome bits. Loved the twists. I connected with the characters and cared what happened. I didn't realize there are 13 books in this series, but I'll definitely continue!
