yeah so john paul ii was just racist, nothing groundbreaking

i’ve never disliked joseph ratzinger more

so i didn’t know about opus dei’s self-proclaimed rivalry with the jesuit order, which makes it ever more sweet that pope francis came after benedict and effectively crippled them

joseph RATzinger is proof the pope is not infallible and i'm glad we course corrected with francis and leo. i have discovered that i really love narratives that spread over the course of over a century, with characters coming in that will be important later

the duty of every catholic is to be a revolutionary
