I have to assume this is going to be one of those mystery stories that the killer ends up being someone you would have never seen coming like the mayor himself or some random jealous girl that was never even mentioned because all signs are pointing to Cass being the ring leader in this situation and I feel like it can’t be that obvious

How would her sister not have know he was dating her that summer? That would have been mentioned in police report or they would have met during the search for her. If he was dating a missing person he would have been investigated which her sister should have known about, unless he also had gone missing at that time. Still that would have been mentioned in report too if he also went missing and they were dating
