I finished my first read of this book less than a day ago. Never done this with a book before, but I'm starting it all over again now that all the feels and ideas are fresh in my mind. Some may call it masochism, but hey, we listen and we don't judge.

Picked up this one bc it allows my mind to keep processing my recent reading experience with Babel while reading some compilation of short stories (no shading to the author intended). Turns out, bloody rising one's mind from its ashes whilst reading another flammable book is much harder than I thought.

This beginning feels like the indirect book interactions between the two main characters in Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart.
