commendable that she’s able to evoke the feeling of walking on egg shells/anticipating absolutely everything but holy fuck this is like excruciating to read. i’m ready to be done. beautifully written though.

bc apparently i like watching car crashes. everyone says ‘show don’t tell’ which i’ve always struggled with,, i think nolan does a good job of both.

enjoying the political commentary. part of me thinks alice asking felix to go to rome makes 0 sense tho,, not j bc they don’t know eachother at all but more so bc hes kind of a dick thus far? but then again real? reminds me of that satc quote ‘this would’ve been cute when u were 25’ im sure he’ll obtain some redeeming qualities (certainly not enough bc it’s sally rooney) but rn im not sold. real tho…

this is painful. but not in a bad way. the friendship in this book is so refreshing though :D

marianne and connell have got to be the most mutually frustrating yet weirdly likable people in the entire world

love it so far. has me cheesing and giggling. i refuse to settle for anything less than elliott
