When I hear people claim systemic racism doesn't exist, whine about how everything is "woke", bend over backward to justify brutality against the other, and claim with their full chest that siding with the oppressed is bigotry against the oppressor, I want to introduce them to this book. And beat them with it. Severely. Because you know they'll never read it, and wouldn't get it if they did.

I wasn't sure that I'd, how do I put this, CARE about Tarkin's backstory, but it makes him into a truly frightening character, fills in some holes in the lore, and is incredibly compelling.
