i actually don’t know why I didn’t finish this book. I just didn’t but I downloaded it and I saw that it had multiple POV so I think maybe that’s why or I skipped chapters.

i didn’t like it. I think it would’ve been ok if the couple was struggling as a couple and they went to Quentin for help and he fell in love with her, but it was just sex. and then she walked up to him being like “I want it to be you” then he goes. I have to decline because you’re my client then she’s like “I fire you”

it was nice but too straight up, like this girl was too comfortable with being kidnapped and having to marry her kidnapper and menace… i know he has an obsession with order but “quiet time?” really?

i don’t know

again i dont know why, ill have to read it again if im desperate

i actually don’t why i didn’t finish this book but all i know is when she found out mecca burned down cross’s parents house, i lost interest

it’s soo upset because the idea of the book was lovely but as soon as they had the date phone call, i was over it. also when he found her at the gas station and was like “if you have a man, why he got you out here filling the gas?” and i was like what if he’s disabled? like stop assuming things boy

yeah i thought it would hit after the 8 years but no it didn’t

i’m actually upset i couldn’t finish this book because the reviews had me excited and i just can’t get into :(

i liked it really but them he wanted her to meet his family and that was too quick for me

idk i liked him and his sickness but the story was to much, it was a universe girl

he wanted to go to a hood basketball game and wanted her to be his plus one

i’m sad i didn’t like it cause i like second chance books but he was doing too much and it’s a lot coming from me cause i like a crazy man but this guy broke into her house broke her gift and paid her bills all of them which is nice then he starts this whole “you’re mine” shit and i couldn’t. i liked his brother though

I was loving it at first but i’m not gonna lie, as i was reading it i would cringe out a bit, like when ne’asha’s dad was like “waiting for my real son in law to show” i lowkey cringed because i HATE when the parents are obsessed with a mc’s love interest it fine to like them but they was doing too much, also when they slept together i was over it

i liked the first book but girl i couldn’t do it, i even struggled with the first one lowkey

staaaahhhp cause i really liked the idea, like broken fmc, why choose and the mmcs try to help this girl through her trauma. i just didn’t like how the characters were written

too wordy that u got lost like did she meet him in her dreams? is she a sidekick is she a witch like what!?

hit me with a stick because i’m all for second chances but girl she broke fast, she literally let him hit and then was like “im not giving you a chance” girl you gave him your kitty might as well give him a chance

it was supposed to be cute with the kids trying to get the parents together but it wasn’t for me bye

simply didn’t like mmc and how he was trying to be in the fmcs life
