This is much better than the movie so far.

This is so bizarre

Oooffff this is gross at this point. Why are men so disgusting? And why do women allow this?

This book is so entertaining. It has a really great pace to it and memorable characters.

This man is so vile.

Is anything juicy going to happen? This is all told from the dad's pov like there is a camera lens on him the whole time and we don't see anything that happens with the other family members except what the author tells us through the characters.

Decided to reread some of my high school books that I enjoyed. This was one of them. I also liked the movie.

"I knew I was dating a younger man, but I didn't realize that he was eleven. " Too funny 🤣

Wow. She sure is taking her husband cheating AND leaving her for a man very well when they should be celebrating their 25th anniversary. This is also taking place during the pandemic where job security was on everyone's mind.

This is too weird. Especially after reading the reviews. No thanks. DNF. Another book recommended that didn't vibe w me.

Wow! This is intense!

1. This main character is soooo frustrating!
2. We get it. You drive a Highlander. Don't remind me again.

The family is way too involved. So many eye rolling moments.

"If you want to have fun with a peasant, be my guest." This line cracked me up! It's a snooty father saying this to his son.

Haha to the reference of "You" and the basement.

Really? She erased half of the tape while trying to duplicate it? Do ppl still use tapes?

The beginning of this book was so strong and reeled me in. It slowly wound down though which I wish it didn't.

Perhaps I am too old for this unrealistic smut? The girl is in her young 20s. As she is riding a horse, she thinks to herself: " I hold on for my life, and I decide here and now, nothing in the universe will stop me! I will have sex, even if it kills me." She is a bit too sex crazed for my liking.

Oh my goodness. This is soooo slow!!!!! Very close to DNF, but I will stick it out as I declutter my kitchen all hours of the night thanks to insomnia.

"If you fixate on any number, you'll always find something to complain about it."

I've read two other books by this author and really enjoyed them. This one isn't hitting the same way. Hopefully it gets better, as I am at the half way mark.

Can a book be both annoying and boring at the same time?

Starting out really well! I've always wanted to go to sleep away camp when I was younger!

Ughhh and I let time lapse again w this book! 25 week wait at the library .I've been trying to read this since November! It is just soooo long!
