Wut the actual effing hell

This is wild. Like almost unbelievable.

Darrow: ‘I look younger than I feel, thinner.’ Me: shocked he didn’t add ‘like a woman.’ Someone hand him a sandwich and a personality. Just deeply misogynistic vibes happening in the first 15%.

The oppression is shoved in your face, the women are all ‘skinny and pretty,’ and Darrow’s tragic love story has zero emotional depth. It’s all tell, no show; like a textbook on misery narrated by a 16-year-old philosopher miner. Waiting for this to feel like an actual story instead of a PSA.
