hi, i’m like 5% into this book, and i’m considering clawing out my eye balls!!!!!! 5’2, I CAN SEE YOUR BONES???? and you take down wolfs? step back, because i’m going to jump the mf who told me this was “new” and “different.” if anything this was the most plain and lacking 5% i’ve experienced in a big long fat while.

did i just hear, six, and seven, at 6-7% of the book?????? was this intentional???? how does a normal person react to this???

my goal is to find a copy of this book, but not through conventional means. i just want to see if anyone in my life is cool enough and owns it, so that i can borrow it (would be cooler if they annotated as well) because oddly i’ve always been so curious about the lives of chiefs!!! if i wasn’t majoring the the sciences with a passion, i might have done culinary!! weird to imagine lol :)

i’m currently experiencing a very severe case of fomo, and i have to see why everyone is so mad about these books!!!!

i’m rereading this masterpiece

i started this at midnight because i couldn’t sleep, and all i could think was “wow this is nothing i want to read right now.” so im gonna try something else.

thea, you have 50 chances to run.

i’m conflicted.

1.) i believe that Thea might be getting to far into something that shes not capable of handling, i mean the character already messed up pre this job and she seems to always want to tell the truth. but unfortunately that might be her demise.

2.) a rich cannibal, with kids who feed their child blood, yeah freaky rich shit. i would hate to be her friend at dinner.

i am really inlove with the way this story is being told, we aren’t always directly involved with maria, and when it’s thea’s chapters it feels like you have someone watching you constantly!!!

i think the writing is drawing me deeper into such a unique story :)

this is so fun, i have been trying my best to savor it and pace my reading but ahahahahah i think imma finish now :(

i was giggling and blushing all night because of the banter, soooooo good!!!!!!!!

i like that i see myself in the main character, she’s got this crippling need to always put herself in a place to defend others, and i think i adore that!!!

and genuinely such great banter, and the dialogue between the characters is just so effortlessly beautiful!!!!!!!!

i’m trying, but it just gets increasingly worse.

i feel so much like an unhinged undercover agent super spy the way i’m rotating between books right now.

Pretentious literature one minute, soul sucking evil smut the next.

it’s a balance.

or i’m just incapable of picking a book to settle on.

i can already tell that Richard is going to be messing with my head. whatever that might mean

i just started and i already know the author was either smoking crack or this is her weird daydream she had in the back of class 25 years ago and couldn’t let go.

whatever, because honestly i am enjoying this.

this will be maybe my final rina kent book for the year, she unfortunately has been half of my reading list, and that is because these books are sooooo easy to read
