I just love this. Bova is a totally addictive page turner. He’s got everything happening from science, politics, culture, equality, fun, and a good dose of love.

Boy how readable is this.
Haven’t read such a gloomy moody wonderfully poetic book like this in a while.

Slow start. Really picking up now. Brackett is a great storyteller.

Bova may not be the most brilliant of all authors. But he sure is the best page turner.

I listened to this whilst painting last night. Quick 1.5 hr long audiobook. Usual good quality Clark. Very typified by the two themes of racial segregation and female homosexuality. I’m enjoying it. The narrator Emokpae is fantastic.

I’m really interested and excited by Colony. I’m a science geek and I really like the hard sci-fi that Bova details. It’s got one of those multithreaded approaches to storytelling which was well. Not overwhelming. Sprinkled in with the sci-fi is action, drama, intrigue and a couple live stories.
How good is that!

Finished SPRING! Started to pick up and I was flipping through the pages. Will review.

Finally got out of the slow going sludge setting scene etc. pace is picking up and I’m starting to enjoy much more.
