While I'm having fun with Donut being Donut, the ceasefire needs to end. I'm getting a little bored.

The struggle I went through to get this book. I put it on hold in June. In July, it said it was on its way for me to pick it up. After waiting patiently for 12 days, I decided to call, and the library told me they would look into it. They called back and they couldn't find it and that library it came from can't find it. I then had to wait for the one and only copy in all of Volusia County. But finally, I have it.

Dnf I know I'm picky, but I just don't like the writing, and I don't understand how you give these robots have thoughts and feelings one chapter, but in the next chapter, they only think how they are programed. I get the robots wanting to open a restaurant and belong in the neighborhood to be a metaphor to immigrants coming to America. But in a time of AI taking peoples jobs, it's hard to be mad at the humans in this

I like cozy books, but this is too cozy, and everything felt a bit flat, and idk how to put it. But I don't get how you have a dream to open a coffee shop and then only put 2 things on the menu black coffee or a latte and sure by the end they'll have more but you've been dreaming of this and you never thought about anything else to add to it. I was bored, and if I had to read the words bean water one more time.

This might be a tiny bit too cozy for me

The monsters are pretty creepy, but the plot is pretty boring. I also agree with the main character sibling. girl, you only like this girl because this is the first new person you have met in years, and she happens to be about your age, and I don't trust her.

I wanted to read the second book, and I realized I didn't remember the first well enough to do so

I can't. I'm bored, and when it's not boring, it's depressing. And Meddy is painfully naive, if I wasn't told she was 17 I would guess she like 12 and if her sisters were the same way I could be like they were really sheltered but they're not.

This might be a little too depressing for me, and I'm not a fan of how it's written. It's feels like it's written for a young adult book, but then there is graphic talk of rape, sex or violence. Which is a lot for 13 percent in but also like not much plot wise, has happened. I'm giving it a little more, but this might not be for me.

I like this so far. The world is magical and cool, but the main character is a little much we all joke we like books more than people she means it literally she talks about a city screaming and dying and how more upset she is that the library burnt down. Gave me the ick a little.

You know, I've read a lot of books that have a non-human companion. This is my first talking plant companion he's a spider plant

And I thought movie Howl was dramatic. I also love that someone had seen this character and was like the English actor has to be Christian Bale.

You'd think with me being on the 6th book, I would be used to this, but I still say wtf at least twice each book

Book Howl is a bit of a dick. He's nicer in the movie. I don't know if it's a change the movie decided to do or if he gets nicer and the movie didn't have time for the character growth.

This might be the end of my reread for this series. It's the last book I read in series, and I don't remember it as well as the others, but I think it ends at a good conclusion for me. I'm found rereading old series fun. I might do percy jackson or eragon as my next rereads.

I've been putting off reading this because I love the movie so much, and I was worried I wouldn't like it. But besides seeing the differences, I've really like it so far.

Someone online pointed out that princess donut reminds them of Moria from schitt's Creek, and I can't unhear it (unsee it?)

As a concept, it sounded interesting, but I'm 50% in, and like nothing has happened, we moved from place to another and now on the way to another. We hate one king. Why? Not sure there's a queen we want her on our side because of her army. What we need it for, not sure. there's godlings, sirens, and I think mages? Like the world building is not there, and the characters are not interesting enough to save it.

It literally feels like nothing is happening and kind of feels like we're just setting everything up for a series
