Roadwork - 2*. Should have been a short story.

Finished The Long Walk. 3.5*. Walking simulator.

“Rage” complete. 3.5*. Raw horror, no monsters or twists. King’s first written book (I believe written when he was 16). Stockholm syndrome (albeit a little too unrealistic), wonderful insight through backstories on how the main character got to where he was. I couldn’t put it down, I want to look for more psychological books now.

I’m just excited to start something new after this

Thought I’d like this more than I do but:
- too many names to start the book
- 100 pages to get out of the boring stuff
- 180 pages for this to start feeling like a thriller.
- I am finding out I don’t care for dinosaurs.

Still going to complete it, but trending towards 3, 3.5*

The story within a story is cool but my small brain only wants to READ ONE BOOK AT A TIME

A book about someone being stuck in a room really hits different when you’re stuck on the couch with a cold.
