This… is so interesting… an allegory for totalitarianism after WW1. It’s bending my brain a bit.

Wow I’m already crying. This book just comes out swinging with the deep and heartfelt. Oof… this is gonna be hard to finish.

Okay, the haters of this book…. I “understand” but not really. Gives me great gatsby vibes. I love this storyline and these characters, and the setting.

Uhm.. okay. This book is not as good as Brynn’s other books for sure. Kinda boring? Not funny? I want humor… banter… but I’m not really getting that. Entertaining maybe… but not what I expected. Also the murders? Not as gruesome.

I love this. I love this series… I love these characters!

Okay. This series was great in the first few books. But the lack of depth of each character is just so bad. The constant “but I love you. I love HIM! I’ll always love you” on every page… and constant dialogue of “I love her. She’s my everything. I can see why she’d love you too. But she’s mine.” And that being the amount of depth we get… or dialogue. Ugh. This is annoying. I zoned out.

First time in a long time I’m reading a series I can’t put down.

Okay. This book is taking me what… almost two full months to read? Longest time it’s taking me to read something in a long time. At this point I’m finishing it just to finish it. Haven’t been interested in this since the start… just very hard for me to picture this world and the magic.

Book got returned early so I had to wait 2 weeks to finish it. For sure so cozy and such a cute romance. Definitely low stakes but it’s such a slice of life and I love it.

Already highlighted so much. This book is about to change my life. It’s been on my list for so long and I’m excited to learn a lot from this.

This is so cute. I love this dynamic between these characters. It is definitely close to hunger games but does not make me nostalgic and wish I was reading that instead. I love how this is taking on a theme of its own.

Uhm… this is cheesy to the max. I like it? But I also hate it. The writing is poor at best, the tension is non existent and then all at once… I feel like I’m reading a wattpad fanfic written by a middle schooler who doesn’t know story boarding… I’m disappointed so far but also can’t put it down?

Been cleaning and doing chores while listening to this. I’m not disappointed in the slightest. I’m in love with this dialogue and FMC character. She feels real and has realistic reactions.

This… is cathartic and sad. Heavy topics but with a hopeful undertone. This books is going to make me cry I can feel it.
