How is the mafioso "broke" but lowkey funding this girl's OF. He just sent her $5k after stating he didn't have much in the previous chapter. Either his savings are more than I think or his brain is 100% rotted.

Realizing that this book over explains things with the use of parenthesis. Like the author doesn't think we can use context clues 💀

I've started writing my review already. I'm committed to not DNF'ing this but MAN will this full review be diabolical, even by my standards.

No progress, I'm just sat here, staring into the void at how abysmal this story is so far. The first one was decent and chaotic and fun. Where is that energy here? On one hand I'm really glad I've been putting it off but on the other... I don't know that Ted being Junior's VA would save this. All my annotations will be full of rage and judgement 😂😭

Okay... I waited post hype to check this one out and I REALLY wish I'd have just bought the audio to hear Teddy Hamilton instead of reading this. I lowkey want to DNF it.

No progress, I'm just still fuming over how she was talking to my boi here 😭🤌🏽 I'm going to finish this but I get the creeping suspicion Elain and Lucien's story will carry a similar tune and I don't know how I'll cope with his mistreatment either.

I am so TIRED. Every time I start to have hope for this girl, she manages to shatter it. Cassian deserved to be treated better 😭

Look. I respect the familial pact that Feyre has for her sisters, I do. However, I've been screaming during this whole series for her to let them rot 💀 Nesta has been right in one regard, that they hadn't deserved her love. But they had it all the same. Rhys has a right to be upset with how he treats Feyre/everyone, esp. after how she broke the pregnancy news to her in Amren's apt.

It's finally dawned on me that Cassian is the golden retriever that's actually a Doberman 💀

I already beat my yearly goal by ~3 so I'm quite happy! I've got 2.5 weeks? May the odds be in my favor!

I...am high key so happy Azriel can't read minds. He'd avoid Nesta like the plague...and Cassian too by proxy 😂

The last 70 something pages is why Feyre's always thought Nesta and Cassian were mated 💀

I like that everyone officially has deemed Azriel the pretty boy. He's just out here trying to live his life 😂

I know this book will try to warm me up to Nesta. I just know it. But I'm agreeing with Rhys on her all the way 😂

Okay, I get being an emotionally complex character, or even one who is an...acquired taste. But I really don't like Nesta. I can see why she and Amren would get along so well but even Amren is more likeable in this series. Book 4 is going to have to give me a LOT when it comes to Nesta's character because as of now, I would have let her and Elain both rot in book 1 💀

🌟 SO MANY EASTER EGGS here. I'm so glad I stumbled into this universe with Crescent City 😭 So glad I read TOG after that!!! The next few books will come for my soul.
🌟 Tamlin deserves a redemption arc. He did CRAP things but I think he's a bit unsocialized and is trying to make it right in his own way.
🌟 I cheered at Ianthe's reward.

It's getting real difficult to cling to the idea that Tamlin needs a redemption arc BUT can we talk about Berron???? I see why Helion is Lucien's dad 💀

Okay so these Seraphim here in ACOWAR **HAVE** to be related to Hunt Athalar & Co from CC somehow. Maybe Miryam and her people fell through a rift and ended up in that universe, churning out all those angels in the CC universe. Idk I feel like I'm out here with a map and red string with this woman's books.

I can tell this girl is going to burn it all down and I'm kinda here for it.

Sorry not sorry, Feyre is doing too much. I can understand it up to a point but there are limits! She just lashes out to hurt people and baaaarely apologizes for it. Guess it's a good thing they're fated but sheesh 💀
